Last night was the Finale of George Mason's Homecoming Week. Jack and I attended the Men's GMU Basketball Homecoming Game and had a BLAST. He always loves it when there's a crowd and got a kick out of everyone dancing and hanging out in the parking lot before the game. They even had a Kids Zone Tent with crafts and food for the little kids!! What fun!
His favorite part about the Men's Basketball games is the Masonettes. Their halftime show was a little cheesy, but Jack didn't care. He loves dancing along with them. We decided that when he grows up, he's either going to be a Ladies Man who loves watching the dance teams, or he's going to be the gay dude who's ON the dance team. It's not really clear yet. ha ha!
DC 101 made a special appearance as well with a tent in the parking lot. They even had Flounder, from Elliot in the Morning, shooting T-shirts into the crowd.
The highlight of the Homecoming games, however, is always the fireworks over the pond after the game. We were worried that Jack wouldnt' like the loud noises, but he was definitely into it. When they were done, he said "Fireworks are Fun, Mommy!"
