Kids in Motion!!

Jack was invited to a birthday party for his little friend Marius. He was turning 4 and had everyone go to Kids in Motion in Woodbridge. What a GREAT place!!!! It's like Chuck E Cheese with no tokens and LOTS of things to run and climb on. There were moon bounces and a wooden castle and a cool air plane and some riding toys and LOTS of giant slides.

Jack was a little hesitant at first because he doesn't care for the sound the moonbounces make (with the air blowing). It sounds like a hair dryer or vacuum cleaner....both of which he dislikes. :-D

Once he went on the slide ONE TIME, however, he was HOOKED. I have never seen that kid burn so much energy in such a little time. Needless to say, he took an excellent nap that afternoon.

Jack first found a fun airplane to play with:

It sat three kids from front to back, then a kid could sit on each wing and ride it like a see saw. It was AWESOME. I think Jack wants one. He was on it for the first 20 to 25 minutes, until he found the joy of the slides. ha ha!

One of the fun riding contraptions...he rode it down the hill and across the room:

Then came the slides....it was like Cox Farms all over again. Up the ladder, down the slide, up the ladder, down the slide, up, down, up, down.....it makes me tired just TYPING it:

This is Little Mia, Marius' littlest sister. She was born only about two weeks before Lucy was. AWwwww.......

Back to the Slides:

There were several little baby siblings at the party and they all crashed at the same time during lunch. At one point, we had them all lined up on the benches. Too funny....

In the party room after the play time fun. They had juice, pizza and chocolate cake. My healthy eater is anti pizza and anti chocolate AND anti cake, so he just sat at the table sipping his juice while everybody ate. After a few minutes, we could all hear somebody humming. ( I knew instantly that it was Jack). He had decided to entertain everyone while they were eating and began humming and singing songs for the group. That's my boy!!

Marius, the Birthday Boy, got to sit in the King's Chair to blow out his candles!!!
