Halloween Fun!!

Okay, it wasn't Jack's first Halloween....but it was the first Halloween since he discovered the joys of CANDY!! Last year he just had fun walking from house to house and making noises with the crinkling candy wrappers!! This year he was determined to fill up his bag with chocolatey goodness....TWICE!! He practically ran between houses. He learned how to say Trick or Treat really fast when he realized what he would get for saying it.

...and he just loved knocking on all the doors. Although, after knocking, he usually took a few steps back and tried to hide behind Mommy. He didn't like it when people answered the door wearing scary masks, but he did get a kick out of a candy bowl with a hand that grabbed him when he took some candy!!

His favorite part of the evening was getting home and dumping out his bag. We filled it TWICE so there was a LOT of candy to go through. But he just had such a good time. Our little Darling Devil!!

Once he started eating his candy, it was ALL OVER!!!
His chocolate smeared face fussed and wined until it got MORE CHOCOLATE!! Since the first "candy" he ever had was fruit snacks which is a gummy kind of candy, he calls all candy "GUMS." He says, "Mommy...I want more gums!"

I have to say....he was actually very polite all evening. When we would get to a house and I would have to remind him to say "Trick or Treat," I would ask him, "What do you say, Jack?" He would hold up his little candy bag, and look at the person with those big brown eyes, and say, "Please?" instead of "Trick or Treat." And he always said "Thank You" and waved good byee as we were leaving the house. Okay, so my little Jack is a very polite devil....but STILL a devil nonetheless!

What a cute lil devil. We went to Potomac Mills. He looks much better in the photo than in person. i was hesitant to buy them but they turned out great, he kinda looked like a Harley riding biker Santa... :)
